Described as the Brooklyn indie rockers who are about to be everywhere, let us introduce you to X Ambassadors. The Brooklyn-based quartet consists of brothers Sam (vocals, guitar, saxophone) and Casey (keyboard), plus Noah (guitar) and Adam (drums). While the SOA office couldn’t let them out of sight, neither could Imagine Dragons front-man Dan Reynolds. Their new EP Love Songs Drug Songs are actually produced in collaboration with the KIDinaKORNER founder Alex Da Kid (a Grammy-winning producer hailed for his work with heavyweighters like Dr. Dre and Nicki Minaj) Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds and friend Dan Stringer.
During the recordings of Love Songs Drug Songs, Dan Reynolds and Alex Da Kid really yielded as much out of the boys as possible with their surprises. On the track “Stranger” for example, Imagine Dragons frontman Reynolds encouraged lead singer Sam Harris to adopt some Prince-y-Michael-Jackson-y-kind-of-vibe in his vocal work.
Dan’s group Imagine Dragons has even put their own spin on the album cut “Unconsolable” and made their own raging-dance-cut version of it (Have a listen here).
While not many danes have heard of the Brooklyn band, some of the major medias certainly has. With featuring in magazines like Rolling Stone they’ve really started their journey over-there. They’ve even toured with The Lumineers, Jimmy Eat World, We Are Scientists and of course Imagine Dragons. All opening acts that would make even the most prominent support-band jealous. We can’t wait to see more from these boys, and are pretty sure they will reach the stars in near future!
If you are a fan of some of the above mentioned bands, you will not only like X Ambassadours – you will love them! Have a listen below (SPOTIFY HERE)
