This album is a ‘must-hear’ one of a kind
The duo Jonas Linnet (Sterling, Gravy) and Louise Tækker (Lupus, Jupiter day) has on their second album created a little playful beauty. On ‘Deadly Songs‘ No Hay Banda converts Dante’s seven mortal sins into seven very different songs. Each song will fill you up with feelings you can’t explain – an indescribable universe of sound.
The album is constantly switching between the danceable end the more gloomy and sensitive. You are filled up with thoughts and impressions after a night spend with No Hay Banda.
This band was formed in 2009, but now they are out with their record ’deadly songs’. We’ve have been listening to the record almost three weeks now. The conclusion: this is alluring. You can’t define if you are feeling happy, aggressive or sad. But it is a fact that this album is filled up with a lot of feelings and a lot of thoughts.
Both in the studio and live the duo is accomplished by Lasse Herbst (Choir of Young Believers, Moon Gringo) playing the drums.
Definitely an album we can recommend as the next album-investment-project. It won’t disappoint you.
