One of the local bands we’ve always supported, Tales Of Murder And Dust – have released a video for “Black Reflections” from their upcoming full length LP. “The Flow In Between” is out in a couple of weeks after quite a long wait – and it was totally worth it! The band signed with Fuzz Club records, a German label specializing in psych rock of all types. Even though the band completed the album almost a year ago – it was added to Fuzz Club’s spring release schedule and pressed on Vinyl, Tape and CD – and of course this all takes time.
TOMAD have slowly but surely been gaining international appeal – and signing with Fuzz Club and being added to their roster of top-class acts has meant a lot more action on the touring front in the coming months. Having been booked in the UK and Europe for tours over the years has opened up an opportunity for them to play for their first time in the USA –having secured a festival slot at Las Vegas’s Psycho festival this August. The line-up includes performances by Blue Oyster Cult, Sleep, Uncle Acid & The Dead Beats and Arthur Brown – some pretty good company if you ask me.
They also just received their rejection letter from this years SPOT festival – apparently they just don’t have what it takes to play for free at Denmark’s largest music business showcase. Keep trying guys! (or not).
Check out Fuzz Club’s TOMAD site for pre-order’s of the new LP, and drop in to HQ on the 23rd of this month for the release party!
