Sometimes you experience something that is indescribable. Something you cannot express in written nor spoken words. I heard and experienced The Entrepreneurs for the first time at SPOT Festival 2015. I will never forget that. I will use that concert as a reference for their future gigs and be that guy who always talks about the SPOT-gig deep in the night at Radar in 2015. To be honest I decided to walk with my bicycle to SPOT on the second day just so I could replay their free download ‘It Strikes Again, Love’.
Some would say that they play punk-music. Others would call it noise pop. To make something clear I couldn’t care less about genre-labels and genre terms. I would describe it as poppish punk or 80’s pop on crack. As if The Cure actually played the kind of music they want to look like they are playing.
The only downside to their gig was the fact that they filled Radar to capacity so a lot of people couldn’t experience them. Fortunately they played four times or something during SPOT including our own CrossEyes Session. To sum up, The Entrepreneurs played one of the best concerts of all at SPOT Festival. Thank you guys!
