Austria’s biggest radio channel, Hitradio Ö3, wants you to hear the banger by Austrian Maïr and Danish SHERPA!
Musical collaborations are always exciting as two or more different artists get the change to showcase new ideas, and create synergy. Two plus two equals five, you know. In late august, Austrian producer Maïr unveiled his newest pop banger featuring none other than blooming, Danish artist SHERPA, called ‘Take The Night’. More specifically, it premiered on The Vibe Guide and on Austria’s biggest radio channel, Hitradio Ö3 – not bad. Moreover, it is available for free.
Although the track is not an exclusive premiere or a premiere at all, this good ol’ release simply deserves an additional spin. Imagine the soundtrack for a laser game at bachelor’s party with the dudes, or early mornings with champagne breakfast, hungover from the night before.
According to SHERPA’s social media, the collaboration happened as a result of the Internet, basically. In other words, we don’t have any secret insight, or fancy stories about two dudes meeting each other, backpacking through the mountains or something – they simply found each other online, and decided to collaborate. Thus, it clearly illustrates the power of the Internet and the reason for getting your tunes out there, without being too much of a secret artist – I think post-modern kids call it ‘punk’, though punk was exactly the opposite.
