Some bands have the ability to create a debut single with so much potential that the single will kick-start their entire career in four minutes and twenty-eight seconds. Copenhagen quartet Milford is that kind of a band.
Even though they just created their facebook page back in October, they still managed to be part of Casper Bach Hegstrup’ favourite bands when we asked him in November – HERE. He included ‘I’m Always’ as the track for the perfect morning with the comment:
This is a song that really grew on me. Right now they have only released this one, but they really contribute to a great morning mood!
Since then Milford haven’t sat still. They won the talentprice accompanied by 15.000 DKK from Vig Festival and The Rhythmical School, they have been included as part of our #ClassOf2014 and conquered the stage at ‘DEBUT on P6 BEAT presents..’
Now (actually two weeks ago) they released their second track ‘Skin and Bones’ and with an almost Kissaway Trail-ish sound found their way to my heart. I won’t describe the track for you, but let the track describe itself to you. It is capable of doing so. The only and last thing I will do is fold my hands and pray to experience Milford in Aarhus soon. Here is ‘Skin and Bones’.
