As usual, we’ve selected this weeks concert-recommendations
It’s monday, you’ve probably bought a ton of beers during the weekend, and it might seem pretty difficult to figure out exactly what concerts you’ll be going to this week. Well, here’s our guide to this week!
It’s not that there is a lot of options this week, but it’ certainly enough to keep me entertained. Our recommendations starts with the lovely pop musician Ida Gard. She visits Train this coming wednesday, and as support she brings NovemberDecember. A guaranteed lovely Wednesday evening, tickets costs 95 kr.
Thursday evening it’s time for some doom-pop at HeadQuarters, as the local heroes from Sky Architects takes the stage. There’s post-rock guitar, and catchy pop-melodies for 40 kr., and support from the young and talented group Tavs Viden.
One of the absolute strongest bands from DK, When Saints Go Machine, stops by VoxHall this Friday. After playing at all the major festivals, it’s now time for some serious ‘Infinity Pool’-touring. ‘Infinity Pool’ is, by the way, one of the best records this year! As support they bring CTM, so for only 180 kr. you get two incredible acts.
Friday is also the day where the new Psych Fest starts, and the day where we finally get to celebrate some of the best psych-bands from in- and outside DK. With names like THE ASTEROID #4 (USA), The Blue Angel Lounge (D), Tales Of Murder and Dust and The Woken Trees, this is definitely going to be one h*** of a weekend! We’ve been warming up for this event for some time now, with interviews and presentations, still to be found on this very website. The price for both days is only 180 kr., not much for that many concerts!
