Imagine the lead singer from one of the most talented Aarhus bands join forces with the mastermind of heavy beats. When a thing like that happens the outcome will for sure be highly anticipated, but what if you don’t tell anyone about your new collaboration project?
That is exactly what happened only a week ago when Mads Kristiansen, the lead singer from Reptile Youth and Esben Andersen from Rangleklods decided to reveal their new musical project. Actually the idea of a collaboration all started on a random Saturday morning after meeting each other in a Copenhagen club, here they decided to make a track together just for Fun. That even ended up as the title of their lead single featured below.
The lead track was released along with their debut EP Worlds on January 13 and was already accompanied by a brilliant video featuring the main actors themselves dancing around having.. fun.
In the end that Saturday morning ended up creating a new band called Slow Celebration. Here they combined the characterizing heavy beats from Rangleklods, with the frolic sound of Reptile Youth. The combination is like a slow celebration of the freedom in music.
Slow Celebration will have their live premiere at the Spot On Denmark in Vienna on Jan 31.
