Dreamy electro pop is what it is – Lydmor & Bon Homme’s new debut single for their album coming later this year.
You’ve heard the sounds before; those groovy soft disco beats mixed with soft electronic sounds pleasing your ears and mind. The two artists, singer/songwriter Jenny Rossander (Lydmor) and Tomas Høffding (Bon Homme) from WhoMadeWho, have worked their magic before on the singles “Daybreaker” and “The Optimist” – but this time their collaboration has conjured up an entire album where “Things We Do For Love” is the first released single.
With the new single comes a mesmerizing video, where you can watch Lydmor and Bon Homme show off their dance moves on city roof tops to the nostalgic sounds of soft 80’s electro pop.
What strikes me as the most fascinating thing on this track is how well Lydmor’s airy, and at times, fragile sounding voice works with the crispy deep vocals of Bon Homme.
Even though they dance in separate, dusty-pink colored surroundings, their voices melt together in a harmonic rhythmic dance.
Watch the mesmerizing video for the new single, and prepare to be dancing to their full album “Seven Dreams Of Fire” released on the 6th of November.
