This trio is definitely one of our favourite local pop-acts. Or semi-local. Actually, it doesn’t matter where they’re from, the point is: We’re fans of Who Is Louis.
Last year, in March, I had the pleasure of going through and review their self-titled debut full-length; a wonderfully constructed pop-album containing 9 tracks. You should give it a go some time, I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy it.
2017 holds news from the Aarhus/Copenhagen trio; a new EP called ‘Falling Constructions’ is on its way, containing 6 tracks. The form of release is both simple and really interesting; a new single will be released every month, from January to June, with the first one, ‘Loaded Gun’, being released today! It will hold three lighter tracks, and three, well, darker ones, but they’ll all be revolving around the same topic: the fear of losing. Intrigued? I think so!
‘Loaded Gun’ could very well be a sneak peak of what’s in store. Either way, with this first track, Bue, Niels, and Greta have done everything I hoped they would after their debut album last year. They’ve found their sound, and they’re, to put it (really) simple, creating really good pop-music. They’ll be interesting to follow the next six months, both with the singles, the end result and what comes out of it, but I’m in. I’m definitely in.
