Train finished rebuilding
After months of rebuilding, one of the major venues in town are now opening the doors once again. The new venue will be inaugurated this Friday when German electro-maestros Moderat will fire up a blast of a party.
Last day we visited the new Train for a look at the inside. Everything has literally been remodelled, and even one of the bars has been removed to fulfil the potential of their main-hall. Everyone in the room will now be able to feel as part of the concert, even when ordering the fifth beer at the bar.
As Music Director, Carsten V. Nielsen also states:
“Many of us know the experience of being at a concert – and yet not really be because you’ve ended up in the back of the room and really can’t see anything else than the neck of the other concert-goers. We want to do better than that.”
The rebuilding won’t change the profile of the venue at all, but only provide them a possible of unfolding the profile even more. For now you will have to wait to see it, until this Friday, but with bookings like MØ, Gavin DeGraw, Peaches and Schoolboy Q, there will be a chance no matter what genre of music you’re into!
With this new version of Train, it seems like the venue is ready to host some serious parties – and we can’t wait to be part of them in 2014!
