We got all eyes on this weekend’s SPOT-Festival! It’s one of the year’s biggest events in Aarhus. So of course it’s all about SPOT-Festival this week.
As one of the first bands on the schedule, we got the alternative indie-rock band THE MALPRACTICE. With inspiration from The Melvins, Nirvana, and Nine Inch Nails combined with a lot of talent and new thinking we are insured a great performance. The Malpractice released their debut “Tectonics” in 2010 at the Danish label DUP. After touring around, they’re now ready for this year’s SPOT-Festival this weekend.
It all goes down at HeadQuarters Friday 03/05, at 16.00.
Johannes Gammelby and the other guys have played together before, in the band Beta Satan. But a few years back, they changed direction and formed The Malpractice in 2010. Friday they’ll be sharing the stage at HeadQuaters with other SoundOfAarhus darlings such as Before The Show, Maskinvåd and The Broken Beats! So it definitely wouldn’t be the worst place to spend the first night at SPOT-Festival. And there’s only two days to go!
Above the article we linked the single “Oh, the irony” from The Malpractice, along with a video that sums up the title preeeetty well…
As SPOT Festival takes place in Aarhus, we highly recommend stopping by the local bands – and The Malpractise is definitely one of those bands who deserves a bigger crowd!
