It’s no secret that Baby In Vain has grown into a commonly known rock band along with their success and the number of times they’ve been tearing stages apart at live gigs. But it seems that the trio have now taken a step back to reflect over it all and the consequences that success may bring along with it.
With their new single “Worthwhile”, Baby In Vain is sharing the message of how they had to fight for their integrity to still be true to themselves as a bad-ass rock band without letting their success get to their or any others’ heads.
“Worthwhile” is a solid and nicely cut single, perfect for that windy day you just feel like spending alone, with some pleasant tunes rock in your ears.
It starts with deep, lazy vocals contrasting to its ending that’s turned up with a finger ripping and, to rock fans, a very satisfying guitar riff.
Even though success can cause a lot of troubles in a band striving to be as down to earth and wholehearted as when it all started, Baby In Vain can comfort themselves with the fact that this single reflects that they, at least, still have their rock hearts in the right place. I don’t think they need to worry about integrity for now. But you never know if that’ll change.
