We have some news from our local phenomenon Liss. Since the release of Try, their name and music have been shared all around the world, and things are going, well, quite fast. Just the other day, their latest single, Sorry, was named the “the hottest record in the world” by BBC’s Annie Mac – and what an honour that is.
The band made their breakthrough with Try, a single that we absolutely adore here at SOA, and they followed up with Always, which absolutely justified their sudden breakthrough – and why not have Pharell Williams premiere it.
A new EP is on its way, and will be released this year, but the funny thing is; Try and Always, their two hit singles, will not be a part of it. Their latest release, Sorry, will, however, be (as far as we know), and it’s definitely different from the first two singles, but it is still a Liss song! It’s a laid back song about relationships, you know, love and all. It’s relatable, and it comes with a homemade video that really shows who these guys really are.
Finally, the local outfit just unveiled their forthcoming Spring 2016 tour, which will bring them all over the place. With gigs in both Denmark, United Kingdom, Germany, and Holland, the boys will for sure be one of the hottest things in contemporary Danish music at the moment.
