We’re continuing our preparations for Aarhus Festuge by focusing on the line-up at Limbo Collective’s Understrøm day-event – and what a line-up it is.
You see, during Aarhus Festuge, four stages (below ‘Skt. Clemens Bro’, Immervad, Mølleparken, and Dokk1) will hold free events where industry actors such as SPOT Festival, Oppenheimer, and the guys from Limbo Collective will present a bunch of talented artists – and it’s absolutely free.
We had a look at them, and we’ll be writing about more of them later on, but this one really caught our interest. Let’s just go through the details at first; the event takes place on the third of September – below ‘Skt. Clemens Bro’, and it’s free. And now the important part, which will, no doubt, make you interested: The music!
The line-up holds some of the artists that we’re following closely these days – bands like Yune and J. Bruno, but especially newcomers The Vice and Copenhageners Masasolo. On the same line-up you’ll find Modest, Musik til Mor, and LHUMA, and you know what? They’re pretty damn exciting too.
As we’ve stated earlier this week, there might even be too many events during Aarhus Festuge, we even called it an ‘event-jungle’. So, we might’ve missed an event or two, but by now, we’ve made our own four-day festival:
August 31.: Fatter Eskil Prisen 2016 at Fatter Eskil
September 1.: Mogwai at Rådhushallen
September 2.: UJAZZ at Fonden Voxhall
September 3.: Limbo x Understrøm below ‘Skt. Clemens Bro’
To quote Mr. Bobby McBride in his Duran Duran review from NorthSide this year:
What a time to be alive!
