Prepare for unforgettable cosiness, when the Norwegian indie-folk duo Kings of Convenience visits Aarhus in October. Moreover, this show will be rather different, as it will be an intimate concert at Train with limited tickets available.
Fans of the band might remember, that the duo hailing from Bergen in Norway, visited Aarhus a couple of years ago when they performed on Blue Stage at Northside 2013 – a critically acclaimed show that received 5 out of 6 stars from both Gaffa, and Soundvenue.
Currently, the duo is working on new material after seven dry years, as they state it. Therefore, see this show as an exclusive and special opportunity to experience their new material in live action. In connection with the show, the duo has sent the following message:
“Dear fans, after 7 dry years we are finally in the process of making a new album. The raw material is ready, but in order to fully understand the potential of each song, an audience is needed. The Unrecorded Record is a rare chance to participate in our creative process. The setlist of this tour will consist of ONLY NEW SONGS. There might be mistakes, there might be false starts. That is why we invite only those of you with open ears and an open mind to purchase tickets to these shows. No recordings allowed, don’t spoil the surprise! The venues are all on the smaller side, to guarantee the necessary intimacy. In the city at the end of each tour, we will enter a studio, hoping to capture what has hopefully crystallised during the shows.”
