One of the most well known West Coast rappers, Kid Ink, will re-check the view from the stage at Train again next year. The Hit-maker and Best-Push-Act nominee of 2014, Brian Todd Collins, performing under the moniker of Kid Ink, will visit Train on April 6, 2017, as part of his forthcoming ‘Up All Night’ world tour. From The American West Coast to the East Coast of Jutland
The LA rapper, signed to legendary RCA Records and working with stars such as Usher, Pusha T, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Ty Dolla Sign, Schoolboy Q, Fetty Wap, Akon, Jason Derulo, and many more, is not only releasing under his own moniker, but also working as a record producer – producing for artists such as Sean Kingston, Diddy, and Yung Berg and more.
Inspired by Jay-Z, Timbaland, DMX and Pharrell, he started producing music already at the age of 15, and in 2008, started producing and writing music for labels. From working mainly behind the buttons as a producer, he found the inspiration to start writing own lyrics to his beats.
Given his tattooed ‘rapperish’ look, more and more people started pushing him into given his own lyrics and music a chance under a moniker. The result was his 2010 mixtape ‘Crash Landings’ featuring DJ Ill Will. Only 10 days after the release, it garnered over 50K downloads, which lead to a feature on the Top Mixtapes Of The Week on Datpiff online. The rest is history as they say.
He previously visited Train in both 2014 and 2015, and both shows sold out quickly, so remember to buy tickets in advance, if you want to hang out with Kid Ink in 2017. Ticket pre-sale opens on Wednesday, November 30 at 09.00.
