Last year, we had the pleasure of interviewing Virgin Suicide, when they played LiveCamp at KærligHeden, Smukfest. They’ve come a long way since then.
They’ve released a maxi single with two singles, played in London for the first time, they’ve played by:Larm in Oslo, they’ve played the Rising stage at Roskilde Festival, and been named ‘New Band of The Week’ in The Guardian. Oh yes! At Smukfest they played Sherwood, which was one of the rare occasions, we actually paid that stage a visit. It’s terribly looking, with that whole photo from a Rasmus Seebach show covering it, and to be honest, I’m not sure I fully understand why it’s even there, but the guys from Virgin Suicide really made the whole set-up work; people passing by simply had to stop up, and give them a listen.
The interview (which is in Danish, btw) takes the listener through the journey they’ve had since last year, the work with their forthcoming album and a weird looking Snapchat-video.
