New week, new guide!
We’ve had a look at some of the events this week, and gave ourselves the tough task of cutting them down to a top 5. Not the easiest thing to do, but we did it anyway! We’d love to hear from you, if you’re attending concerts that aren’t on the list – it’s all about spreading the word.
After two great season, HeadQuarters is now ready to start the third season of Plug’n’Play. It’s been quite the succes so far, and we can only recommend checking it out. I mean, it’s an acoustic guitar and a bunch of songwriters, and it works. You will enjoy it, and you might even get inspired?
Emilie Ramirez is ‘one to watch’ this year, no doubt. We just gave her a seat in our Class of 2016, and we’re excited about having her here this early. It gives us the chance to follow her 2016 journey all the way. She’s already been announced at SPOT Festival, but there’s no reason not to catch her both times.
What a night at Sway this is. If you come early (22:00), you’ll be able to participate in a supposedly difficult music quiz, before Nicotine Nerves (23:15) and Tin Can Telescope (23:50) enters the stage. A double concert with two hard hitting names at one of our favorite bars in town.
So, if you don’t know Baal, or haven’t heard of them, here’s the short version:
20 years ago, Baal released their debut album Sensorama. It was rewarded with several 5 star reviews, Grammy nominations and loads of concerts.
Now, 20 years later, their celebrating their legendary debut with a re-release and 11 concerts, where they’ll be performing the entire album. Let’s celebrate with them, shall we?
The last show on our guide is Kentaur at Radar. No doubt, this is a name you’ll be hearing a lot this year, but this Saturday you’ll be able to see them at a 360 stage, at the venue that really seems like the perfect match for a dreamy, atmospheric Kentaur gig.
Haven’t heard them yet? Well, check this video out, and go buy a ticket to you and one you hold dear.
