New week, new guide.
…. And once again, Aarhus has a lot to offer! We’re visiting different venues and genres this week, and here’s what we’ve hand picked for you guys:
They’ve been at it since 1998, and even though we’re writing 2015 now, they’re still releasing really good material. ‘Allas Sak’ confirms that! Wednesday at Atlas is all about psych.
We often forget, that Lowly haven’t been around for that long. Actually, Lowly was formed in 2014, but it feels like they’ve been providing us with great tunes forever. We’re glad to have them back where they belong, here in Aarhus! Oh, the doors open at 20.00, and here, Radar will be playing the Flaming Lips album “Zaireeka”. Four separate vinyls that should be played at the same time in order to get the full experience. It’s gonna be a good evening at Radar!
If you haven’t heard Cancer yet, you owe it to yourself to give ‘Ragazzi’ a listen when at home, on the train or whatever, and you owe yourself to check them out live this Friday. Actually, that’s all there is to say.
Almost all the music coming from Thy is good, at least that has been a clear tendency lately, when following the music coming from Thy Music Collective. These three bands are no exception!
Ah yes, Blaue Blume. The last couple of years have been with nothing but success, and they deserve every bit of it, no doubt. They released their debut album, ‘Syzygy’, recently, and it really does live up to the huge expectations build up after the release of their EP ‘Beau & Lorette’. Saturday, you can experience the new material and the, in my opinion, best singer coming from this country.
