The lovely, amazing Grim Fest is back – and the line-up is awesome as always! Here’s our guide to three highlights every day:
Thursday:
Scarlet Pleasure – 20.00, Bonzai scenen:
Things have been going quite fast for these guys, and they’ve now become the new darlings on the Danish scene – and they deserve to be.
Skambankt (N) – 21.00, Skov scenen:
The hard hitting punk rock band is only visiting two festivals in DK this year; Roskilde and Grim. From Roskilde, Gaffa wrote, that Skambankt achieved their Danish breakthrough.
Gypsy Hill (UK) – 23.00, Skov Scenen
Well, take a look at the video below, and keep in mind that it is the closing act. Yup, it’s time to move your feet!
Friday:
The Minds of 99 – 19.00, Bonzai scenen:
They delivered a 6/6 performance at Roskilde, on the difficult Rising stage, and I’m pretty sure, that the stage and area at Danmarks Grimmeste is pretty much designed for these guys.
WhoMadeWho – 22.00, Skov scenen:
A band that needs no further introduction – if you haven’t seen them live before, do it now – will ya? If you aren’t convinced, have a look at this old live-video.
Trentemøller – 00.00, Skov scenen:
Just so you know, there’ll be guitars on stage. Expect world class musicians, and throw the rave-idea away. Enjoy.
Saturday:
Analogik – 19.00, Skov scenen:
The always entertaining Analogik are back at Grim Fest, and this is chance for you to forget all about being hungover – and get right back to the idea of drinking beer and dancing around.
Marvelous Mosell – 22.00, Bonzai scenen:
Entertaining, spot on and tight – Marvelous is one of the absolute best new acts on the Danish hip-hop scene. He created his own unique style, and it’s just better than the others!
When Saints Go Machine – 00.45, Skov scenen:
Perfect time, perfect band – a must see!
