Trashy jeans, loose hair ready for head banging and a cold draught beer in your hand is my only recommendation for the dress code at this not-to-miss rock event taking place on September 18 at NyV58 in Aarhus – Find the Facebook Event Here.
Get ready to be blown away by hard bass and raw, live guitar coming from three different bands during this night – all young and sweaty rock guys, joining in a grungy, punkish, and surfing rock symphony. This is the second round of Rock Extravaganza, and you will not be disappointed.
Pacific Swell will bring echoing surf rock worthy of sandy beaches and blue waves, throwing you back to more tropical surroundings. Nava will make sure you get moving on the dance floor with their trashy old school rock sound – I’ve heard that these guys are inspired by Led Zeppelin among others, so this should catch your attention, even if your chilling in the basement at V58 smoking a cigarette.Last but not least, John Alcabean will spoil rock fans with a nice mix of indie rock and soft boyish vocals.
So if you see yourself craving some late night kick ass rock, you should join the rest of the rock-loving crowd at NyV58 for a beer (or five?) and some rhythmic jumping around to the sounds of enlightening new rock music.
For now, I’m writing this in my jogs at home, listening to some of the mentioned band’s live videos, but I can’t wait to put on those outworn jeans and my leatherjacket to go enjoy some good old (or new for this matter) rock tunes.
The program of the night is the following:
22.00 Band 1
22.50 Band 2
23.30 Band 3
