Have you bought anything at Record Store Day? Why stop there, why don’t you just go all the way to cassettes? That’s what you can do at Flux: Cassette Store Day.
Going from a very specific niche thing, cassettes are on their way back. That is why several cassette printers such as: It Was Gnarled, Yield, Moral Defeat and several others along with self-published tapes are showing up to sell cassettes. This is bound to be a special experience, and to top it off the whole thing is hosted by Count0. Count0 is a label from Copenhagen, mainly techno and different sub-genres. This means that there will be live-music as well, with acts from Funeral Future, Istrefi and Repro.
Special releases such as the first Golem mix tape of Danish music (see tracklist below). This is a 90-minute mixtape, consisting of different bands and genres found in Denmark. The first mixtape includes amongst others, songs from Yung and XYZ. Golem is going to release several of these Danish mixtapes, and they are worth keeping an eye out for.
What can you expect from the live part?

The whole thing goes down at Ambassaden, and is definitely going to be a special experience. Even if you don’t have a cassette player, which most people no longer have, it will be fun, and a rare opportunity to see a hell of a lot of different cassettes. Check out the event here!
