They’re back and better than ever! Award-winning and best-selling electro rock band Dúné are in town to promote their new album “Wild Hearts” and they are about to give Aarhus a double-treatment.
Decimated from formerly seven to now four band members (Hey, more space on the stage for jumping around!) and now based in Germany’s hipster capital Berlin, Dúné have regained their joy of playing and are back on stage. Of course, all these changes didn’t leave the band’s sound untouched: “Wild Hearts” sounds promising, with a lot of commercial appeal.
GAFFA magazine even calls it “their strongest collection of songs to date”. Jyllands Posten praised them for rocking out instead of lapsing into “acoustic senior-nostalgia” on the new album, and they might have a point. Because despite all these changes going on in the past years, one thing has remained the same: Dúné’s live shows are still absolutely entertaining events. So if you’re up for some energetic, straight-forward rock interspaced with some electronic elements, then Fatter Eskil should be the place to be for you this weekend.
Dúné will play at Fatter Eskil this Friday and Saturday. The concerts will start at 10pm. Unfortunately, both shows are now sold out!
