Although the sun is shining and the weather is hot as hell, soon Aarhus will go through a ugly and difficult time. With a fantastic line-up it will be more than difficult to navigate and prioritize what you want to hear at this year’s Grim Fest.
The festival which takes place from 1/8 to 3/8 has the last eight years grown from 500 to a capacity of 5000 guests. The festival gives unsigned bands and artists a chance to get out to a large audience, while the audience gets larger and more established names on stage. The idea of Grimfest is to create a festival that everyone can afford. The organizers of the festival keeps prices as low as possible. This applies both to tickets, bar- and food prices.
The first festival day, Thursday, 1/8, doesn’t offer as many acts as Friday because of the late start 17 o’clock, but with names like Dance With Dirt, Complicated Universal Cum and Bottled In England there’s no doubt there will be a party. Definitely worth a visit! If you’re more into heavy and hardrock, local HateSphere certainly won’t disappoint you!
Sound Of Aarhus suggest you start the festival Thursday out with the former Karrierekanonen winners from Dance With Dirt then Complicated Universal Cum and last but not least, dance off with Bottled In England.
