A few weeks ago we released an article about the local Future-Grunge boys from Blind Drivers. An article which more than a 100 of you lovely readers choose to like. Here we described their promising first demo as an excessive and upbeat mix of late seventies punk rock, early eighties’ post punk and nineties grunge rock. A genre mixture the band itself labels as ‘Future Grunge’. Also Gaffa liked their promising demo, and rewarded them a rave 4/6 review.
Lots of exciting things have happened since then, and only days ago we published an article describing the new project Asta Fall from on of the Blind Drivers members.
It’s obvious that these guys have some serious talent, and could very well be the next rock collective in town if they wants to.
Now they are back with the release of their first-ever music video for their track “When She’s Gone”. The video is created as a visual documentation of the way they managed to get some gigs outside the rehearsal room. They simply fill up the truck with gears, drives to a bar and ask the manager. Sometimes a success, sometimes not. This night it turned out as a success at Sway in Aarhus – it’s actually the owner of Sway, Marc (guitar) is talking to in the middle of the video.
So far they’ve added three more dates to their tour plan, thus you can hear them live in Copenhagen on 26th Dec at KB18 and in Aarhus on Jan 14th at Escobar, and Feb 19th at Headquarters.
We can’t wait to hear more from this talented collective of local ‘Future Grunge’ musicians. This is “When She’s Gone”
